My Sumo Wrestler And The Big Brother Who Rescues Her

I have a bit of a dilemma...well I say dilemma but a dilemma is usually something you have worked at trying to correct and just can't seem to. I really haven't worked at correcting this like I should. I wish it would just correct itself. Am I lazy or what?

You see now that our two-yr-old is potty trained, she has got into the habit of taking her clothes off before she goes "potty" and not putting them back on. At first, it wasn't a big deal to me, but now that it has been going on for a long time, with out any obvious desire in her to change, it would probably be good to take some action. However, I am really banking on the thought that it is just a stage. My oldest sister's toddler did the same thing for months and is, just now, starting to wear clothes again. But day's like today make me think I really should work on that because.....

Today my five-year-old was playing with my two-yr-old downstairs. She was running around in underwear (she obviously had no help putting on) a big improvement from her birthday suit. I think she had the leg hole around her waist and the waist hole around her leg and so you get the drift...there was some cheekage. Don't ask me why I didn't fix it sooner.

No worries-I will not include a picture for propriety sake and I will spare you the details save this one thought; she reminded me of a sumo wrestler. Carson even tried to help fix her bunching problem, in front of the open fridge! (Yes I know I have O.C.D. tendancies) Now that's problematic if you know what I mean-nasties near my food! And no five year old boy should be helping his little sister with miss-dressed-wedgy problems. You could tell it was just bothering him probably because he can relate to the uncomfortable part of it. Thankfully he doesn't seem scarred. I guess I need to work on this dilemma problem.

Oh April! That's funny. And sweet that your son wanted to help your daughter. :o)

She'll grow out of it eventually. I promise!!

How cute. But I know the feeling of wanting to protect little boy eyes, and wondering what age he will be when it becomes more important to up the efforts. I am thinking about starting Emmie's training. She tells me she wants to go to the potty, but when we get there she's afraid of falling in. I need to go get a potty seat.

Jenster: Let's just hope it will be sooner than later.

Today she has been clothed ALL morning. She even brought me clothes for her to put on......there is hope. :)
